We've all been there. You come home from a long day at work or you just got into a fight with your significant other. Your hand reaches into the freezer to grab that mouth watering pint of Ben & Jerry's Karamel Sutra (or whatever your ice cream poison)...but's gone. Out of the corner of your eye you see your roommate carefully put down a spoon, wiping any trace of guilt off her face with the sleeve of her shirt. You've been robbed of your Ben & Jerry's ice cream pint.

Thankfully Ben & Jerry's have re-introduced a way to protect the important things in your life, ice cream.

For the reasonable price of $6.64 you can order yourself your very own Ben & Jerry's "Euphori-Lock."

"Worried the dessert desperados have their eyes on your favorite ice cream flavor?" the ice cream kings Ben & Jerry wrote. "Hate to leave home for fear of cold-hearted pint-nappers? Tired of vain attempts to conceal your favorite passion behind the frozen peas? Ben & Jerry's wants YOU to breathe easier!"

The Euphori-Lock is a simple invention from the great minds at Ben & Jerry's. Slide the lock over the lid of your ice cream, and the device locks your frozen treat away from watering mouths. The lock is a two-part plastic security ring that deadbolts your ice cream.  The only way to release the deliciousness into the world is by unlocking it with a secret code.

The folks at Ben & Jerry's didn't come up with the ice cream saving invention all on their own. A disgruntled ice cream eater seemed to have had a foul experience with their beloved pint.

Katie O'Brien, head of Ben & Jerry's merchandise said in a press release that the Euphori-Lock is a "delightfully tongue-in-cheek concept," confirming that the idea came from one of their customers. O'Brien stated that the concept "came from one of our customers, who suggested we start selling our ice cream in stainless steel containers with little padlocks on them."

You can purchase your very own Ben & Jerry's Euphori-Lock at any Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shop, or through their website.

Will you be investing in a Euphori-Lock for your Ben & Jerry's ice cream?
