Reusable water bottles have been making the rounds, changing the way that we stay hydrated, along with helping the environment. Keeping an eye out for new 'green' products, FoodNRecipe stumbled upon a new take on reusable water bottles - Bobble 24/7.

Bobble 24/7 comes from the makers of the Water Bobble, which may already be in your kitchen cabinets.  The Water Bobble was created to not only be a reusable water bottle, but also filtered water to "change people's drinking habits by slowing the mass consumption of single-serve water bottles." Each bobble contains a filter that equals 300 single-serve bottles. The company claims that through the use of their Bobble product, they have helped to remove millions of tossed plastic bottles from the environment.

If that wasn't good enough, the Bobble minds are now branching out with Bobble 24/7. The new product contains the same built-in filter that removes chlorine and organic contaminants from tap water, but is "sport-lifestyle ready," explains the site.

Bobble 24/7 holds 24oz/750 ml of crisp water. The latest product comes in magenta, blue and grey, and includes a soft-touch integrated cap, along with an easy to carry handle, boasts

Besides looking trendy and being great for on the go, the Bobble 24/7 is free of BPA, Phthalates, and PVC.

BPA has been controversial, in that it exerts hormone-like properties, reports the MayoClinic. PVC, also known as the "poison plastic," is one of the most environmentally damaging plastics, states PVC releases toxic chemicals that can lead to cancer, immune system damage and hormone disruption. Meanwhile reports that Phthalates have been linked to asthma and reproductive harm.

The latest design comes from the mind of Karim Rashid, the designer behind the original Bobble.

"Bobble 24/7 is the new generation of on-the-go water filtration," said Stephanie Smiedt, co-founder and creative director, Move Collective, LLC in a press release. "Durable yet elegant, Bobble 24/7 fits in your gym bag or handbag and has the same iconic shape that has become our trademark."

Bobbles have made it into over 30 countries and 40,000 retail stores after founders Richard and Stephanie Smiedt passed "an open field piled high with factory waste." Witnessing the waste, the pair decided to re-invent the water bottle.

Their site claims that consumers use over 200 billion single-serve bottles of water per year, but one person using a Bobble for a year can remove thousands of bottles from the environment.
