Jamba Juice would like everyone to know that it's doing better than ever, thank you very much. They've had a pretty excellent year, including some dynamic partnerships, aggressive international expansion, and glamorous appearances in your children's school lunches. How's that for good P.R.?

Well, it gets even better. All this business week, from August 6th to August 10th, Jamba Juice's sixteen ounce smoothies are going for one dollar a piece at participating locations. No coupons are required. Just show up and demand good, cheap fruity smoothie goodness.

But that's not the only reason why some Jamba fans have reason to smile.

Jamba's stock has just about doubled in price so far since 2012 began, according to the quarterly report published last week. Compound that with the fact that same-store sales climbed 5.1% at company owned stores and 6.4% at franchise-owned operations, and have been on the up-and-up for eight consecutive quarters now, and you have a horse worth backing. On top of that, the other horses in the race (McDonald's, Burger King, and Starbucks) probably won't be any kind of threat to Jamba's juicy empire any time soon. It's hard to thing about anything but the oil dripping from a big mac, or the sad state of your tomato and your lettuce, when you think about a smoothie from either of those locations.

It's no secret why some are saying that Jamba may help juice up your portfolio.
