That's right, potential patrons. At Eleven Madison Park, you can expect magic. Literally. According to the Times, shortly after Labor Day 2012, Eleven Madison Park is ditching the more relatively budget-friendly options on their famous menu in favor of a $195-a-person menu that will take you four hours to eat, start to finish.

If that sounds like a tedious experience, then this may be the final nail in the coffin. They're going to be making that experience a little more riveting/cumbersome with the help of, hand-to-God, magic tricks-- specifically, "card tricks, a glass dome full of smoke, a blast of sea mist from a tabletop clambake, and a cheese course that emerges from a picnic basket placed on the table."

It's good to know that we'll be eating a meal conceived and served by Scooby Doo villains. But Daniel Humm, the executive chef, doesn't foresee any potential tackiness. For him, the gamble here represents a "chance to redefine what going to a four-star restaurant is all about."

I guess we'll all just have to see, won't we?
