Like the winsome new chef and his restaurant, Do or Dine, this video is one for the ages.

If you're a Bedford-Stuyvesant local, or someone who keeps hir ear to the ground for good food, you're probably familiar with Justin Warner, the unassuming executive chef of Do or Dine, which hold the honor of being the hippest new brick-and-mortar restaurant in New York City. And if you're not a New Yorker, you probably caught him on this season of The Next Food Network Star, where fans voted him the winner and recipient of his own cooking show on T.V.

But regardless of why you're familiar with him, you've probably never seen him as a rapping pope.

It may make sense that the boy who won with the tagline Rebel With a Culinary Cause would have donned papal garb and rapped his way through the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, which is exactly what happened. At the time, Do or Dine was probably just a dream; Warner was working in the kitchen at The Modern in New York City.

He came to the Classic dressed as the pope because why not, and he was chatting up how much he loved that year's Chateauneuf de Pape when some "square" came in and began to talk about how Riesling was the one true messiah. If the Riesling dude could rap, there would have been a pretty epic rap battle. But as it happened, it was just Mr. Warner rapping about how awesome 2009 Chateauneuf de Pape was, with his opponent's only defense of Riesling being that it only needed one edification.

We don't need millions of voters to tell us who the winner of this battle was.
